Neuromuscular Dentistry is a dental treatment philosophy intended to correct a “malalignment”of the jaw at the temporomandibular joint and produce a balanced bite. The neuromuscular dentist uses several computerized instruments to measure your jaw movements and jaw muscle activity to determine the extent of your problem and to establish a “physiologic rest position” for the jaw.

Neuromuscular dentistry involves nerves and muscles of the entire body and the following ailments can be addressed by just working on the teeth:

1. Chronic headache / Migraine
2. Jaw Pain
3. Neck Pain
4. Shoulder ache
5. Lower back ache
6. Hip Pain
7. Knee Pain
8. Ankle or Foot Pain
9. Watery Eyes
10. Sinus Pain without sinus infection
11. Generalized anxiety
12. Tinnitus (Ringing sensation in the ears)
13. Hormonal imbalance
14. Digestive Problems
15. Ulcers
16. Snoring
17. Sleep apnoea
18. Weight gain
19.Posture related ailments

If you have the following problems, It’s most likely one does not have a 3 Dimensional balance of the body and that would result in various aches, pains and ailments in the body.
● Sensitive Teeth

● Mal alighted teeth
● Bleeding gums

● Inability to keep the jaw open for a long time
