The first 100% Paul Harris club
Rotary Bangalore Midtown, chartered in 1977, has over the past 30 years rendered notable yeoman service to the community. This includes: providing 10 life-saving ambulances, including the first ever Mobile Limb Ambulance for use in rural areas; building over 127 homes under its "Shelters" project; providing free medical care at its charitable dispensary to over 15,000 patients each year; and providing infrastructure at its adopted rural Govt. schools that educate more than 1,500 children. Also, Rotary Bangalore Midtown is the first 100% Paul Harris Club in Karnataka.

Gottigere, a village in the outskirts of Bangalore, has been benefited by a number of initiatives taken up by Rotary Bangalore Midtown
Our Projects
During the last 30 years Midtown has demonstrated its commitment of service to society, by executing projects that are unparalleled and of great benefit to the underprivileged.
Education
Two schools in Gottigere have been adopted, which caters to over 2500 children. Support is given by constructing Class rooms, equipment for these class rooms, uniforms, books, computers.
Ambulance
The Life Saving Brigade Project, an initiative of Midtown, has saved many lives. Ten state of the Art ambulances have been donated to various leading hospitals in and around Bangalore.
Health Care
A Charitable Dispensary has been set up, which distributes free medicines to over 15K patients every year. Health Camps for the benefit of the villagers are conducted once a month in this dispensary
Shelter
Providing shelter by constructing over 127 homes to the rehabilitating slum dwellers at Hoskerahalli,Bangalore, was another massive project.
